I don't really get a chance to eat bonito, do I? Bonito was originally thought to be a perishable fish, which is why seared tuna was invented! Yahoo! When I was wandering around Kayabacho for lunch, I remembered this restaurant that I had been looking for but had never been able to go to! I had the tataki bowl and it was delicious! Coarse salt is irresistible, and the taste changes when you eat ginger and onions together. I previously had bonito tataki at Hirome Market in Kochi Prefecture, and since then I've eaten it at many other restaurants, and it's delicious here too! Depending on your seat, you can enjoy a delicious lunch while looking out at the Kameshima River (or so I hear). It gets crowded at lunch, so come early!
