この日は茅場町にある『Bistro yen』にディナーで伺いました。
こちらのお店は銀行の跡地に建てられた複合施設の「BANK」の1Fにあるビストロです。
以前、同じく1Fにあるベーカリー「Bank」でパンを購入して美味しかったため、『Bistro yen』も気になっていました。
予約した18:00に到着すると、兜町という立地で土曜日にも係わらずほぼ満席でした。
コートを預けてカウンターに着席です。
なお、ディナータイムはコースはなく、アラカルトのみのようです。
まずはスパークリングワインで乾杯です。
お通しは、クリームチーズとべったら漬けを使ったクリームをクロワッサンに注入したもので、生地はサクサクで香ばしさとコクがあり非常に美味しかったです。
『Bistro yen』では「Bank」のパンが1,200円/人で好きなだけ食べられるということでお願いしました。
まず2種類のパンが提供されますが、特にシンプルなコーンのパンが甘みと塩味のバランスが良くて美味しかったですね。
ホイップバターも口当たりが良くてパンが進みます。
追加でオーダーしたレバームースも柔らかくてコクがあり、パンとの相性が抜群でした。
続いて「鮮魚とアボカドのタルタル」をオーダーしました。
お魚は忘れてしまいましたが、エゴマの葉に巻いて八丁味噌のソースをつけていただくと、プリプリのお魚の食感と旨味、アボカドと八丁味噌の甘みが相まって美味しいです。
メインも「本日のお魚料理」にしました。
イサキだった気がしますが、リゾットも入っていて食べ応えがありました。
白ワインのソースも、当然ですが白ワインにぴったりでした。
普段はデザートはあまり食べないのですが、確実に美味しいはず！と思い、私はバスクチーズケーキを、妻は「パルフェグラッセ」をいただきました。
チーズケーキは濃厚でチーズの香りもしっかりとしていて美味しかったです。
パルフェ＝パフェと思いこんでいましたが、パルフェグラッセテリーヌのようなスイーツでした。こちらも非常に美味しかったそうです。
ワインを5杯いただいて約15,000円はリーズナブルでした。
パンも美味しいですがお料理のクオリティも非常に高いので、次はお料理を中心にいろいろいただいてみたいと思います。ごちそうさまでした。
