朝降っていた雨が、ありがたいことに昼には止んでいた週末金曜日
お昼をいただきにやってきたのは「くらのあかり」で、ここもまた「伊達のくら」の一門らしいから、人形町の“お蔵検め“も、これで3軒目ということになります
ちなみに、当初、戸口の札は“営業終了“のままになっていたけれど、
どうやら返し忘れていただけのようで、すぐに“営業中“の表示に変わりました
どういうブランドの使い分け方をしているのか、知りもしないし、知りたくもないけれど、よく見れば、看板にしても、お店の外観にしても、「伊達のくら」とよく似た感じ
店内に入ってみれば、半個室風に仕切られたブースが並んでいるあたりは、いかにもそういうところに気を配る飲食資本系の酒場らしい造りになっています
案内された席に着き、即断即決で私がオーダーしたのは「欧風 ごろっと牛たんカレー(850円)」
今日は“カレーの日”ですから、もともとそれがお目当てで来ていますし、やたらとお高い牛たんメニューをスルーするのはもちろんのこと、既に飲食資本クオリティーと読み切っている他のメニューにも興味はありませんからね
で、ほどなくやってきた「欧風 ごろっと牛たんカレー」
いただいてみれば、デミグラスソース寄りの味になっているところはたしかに“欧風”で、セントラルにありがちなクセもないし、牛たんかどうか部位までは確認できないけれど、肉も割とゴロゴロ入っていますが、どこかよそよそしさを感じる味わいではあるな
しかも、たまたまなのかもしれないけれど、ごはんがパサつき気味で、ところどころダマになっているのはなんだかなぁ

同じ飲食資本系でも、悪名高きモンテローザ一味ほどどいひーではないようだけれど、だからといって感心するほど美味しいものを出すというわけではないようだな
