A multi-tenant building located next to Exit 1 of Kodenmacho Station on the Hibiya Line. Kyomachiya Kodenmacho Branch is located on the 5th floor of this building where many Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) are located. This is a relaxing shop where you can store your shoes in a shoe rack. The interior of the store is designed with private rooms, making it a perfect fit for the coronavirus society. I visited during a late lunch hour, so it was fairly empty. Today, I ordered "2 types of grilled fish set meal (¥1,000)". It seems that drinks will be served around 1pm, so I ordered an iced coffee as well. The set meal includes salted mackerel and sockeye salmon fillets, chirimenjako, tofu, dried daikon radish, and a parade of Japanese-style meal. The miso soup is red soup stock, and the rice is a large serving. Salted mackerel has plump meat and just the right amount of fat. I didn't use soy sauce, just the saltiness. The sockeye salmon is grilled with Mirin and has a strong flavor. This was loosened up and served over rice. Actually, it would have been great if it could be served with tea. Small dish is called "obanzai" and is served in small portions and elegantly. Both the tofu and the dried daikon radish are extremely lightly seasoned. Miso soup with red soup stock has a strong flavor, so it has a rich and distinct flavor. The seats are hori-kotatsu-style, and we were able to relax and enjoy the iced coffee that was provided after the meal. If you come to this restaurant, we recommend eating after 1:00 pm during lunch time.
