これは流石の一言
在宅勤務の昼飯に、某、魚の定食がおいしいらしい焼き鳥屋を目指してみたら、どうもランチをやめたらしくて敢え無く退散。
代打に選定したのはこちら。
あの〈玉ひで〉の系列らしきことは聞いていたので、そろそろ、と思っていた順番が繰り上がった感じ。
11:30過ぎ、カウンターに空きあり、入るなり着席。
〈から揚げ〉とか〈チキン南蛮〉とかにガンガン惹かれながら選んだのは店名を冠した〈江戸路丼〉。初めは、まず、店の自信の品を叩きませんと。
先日訪れた某店は焼きすぎ感があって肉そのもののふっくら・ジューシー感が抜けてしまって、タレの旨さだけが印象に残ったけれど、こっちは全く思想の違う焼き鳥丼に仕上がっている。ねぎま串のモモ肉はふっくら焼けているし、その他も塩、タレがクドくない程度に添って、鶏の旨さを引き立てている。圧巻はつくね。大きさもさることながら、ふわふわで肉汁も抜けていなくて、タレの味わいが上滑りになるわけでもなく、しっかり味が入っている。
これだけでごはん何杯でもいけちゃうね、って感じ。お米も堅めな炊きあがりがいかにも好み。
1,000円という仕上がりまで納得で、こうなるとにわかに〈から揚げ〉や〈チキン南蛮〉が気になってしまうのだが、それはまたいずれ…。

年度末アンコール。
昨年秋に、さすがは〈玉ひで〉の系列、と感得した焼き鳥丼をいただき、きっとおいしいに違いないと思い抜いた、から揚げ/チキン南蛮を試すべく、年度内最後の在宅勤務日に訪れる。
この日は〈江戸前からあげ定食〉。
あまり待たされないし、からっとして、ライトでサクサクした感すらあるから揚げはレベルが高い。骨付き部位（恐らく手羽）などもあったり。薄ら酸味の乗ったつけだれに、薬味を入れて一緒にいただくとごはんのオカズとしてもレベルが高い。どのへんが江戸前なのかよくわからないけど。
ただまあ、前回、丼物で頂いたアタマこと焼き鳥やつくねの感動に較べると、幾分普通な気はするかな。でも、1,000円税込という仕上がりには恐れ入るし、さすがの佳店だなという印象は変わらない。
次、訪れる機会があるのなら、その時は残るチキン南蛮をいただくことにしよう。
