ひょんなことから馬喰町にてクールダウンとなりまして、チープなチェーン店が目立つ大通りから問屋街を覗くと遠くに赤ちょうちん的なナニかを視認。これはひょっとしてと店の前までくるとまぁ悪くないオーラを感じ取り入店してみました。
コロナ禍以前は人気の居酒屋だったのかもしれませんが、客入りは半分ほど。本来なら５～6人で使うような大きなテーブルを案内され、適切な距離を保ちつつ2時間ほど飲んで久々に酩酊寸前に陥りました。笑
生ビールで乾杯後、メニューをチェック。冊子状のレギュラーメニューも充実してましたが手書きのメニューがなかなか魅力的。刺身や魚介系、なかでもクジラ推しとは珍しい。あとは定番にちょっとしたひねりのあるメニューなど。やぁ久々に居酒屋で飲んでる、って気分になりいたずらに胸も高鳴ります。
ということで枝豆、穴子入りだし巻き卵、寿司盛り（７貫だったかな）、さらしくじら、鶏のから揚げなんて辺りを注文。
意外と言ってはシツレイだけどどれもなかなか美味しい。ふっくらアツアツの卵焼き、寿司もちゃんとしている。食感のふわふわとしたさらしくじらも酢味噌に付けてパクリ。好適な酒のつまみでハイボールのジョッキも面白いように空いていきました。
途中丸いか焼きなるものを注文。プリっとした焼きいかが出てくるとおもったらいわゆる丸干しの炙りいか。これはお酒もススムくん、尿酸値もノボルくんです。美味しいんだけどね。
メニューには夜のちょっとした定食などもあり、近隣の勤め人が帰りにふらっとサクッと飲んでいくオアシスみたいなものか。
鍋物宴会などもなかなか良さげ。問屋街も店が閉まって暗くなると一気に寂しくなりますが、こういう店の明かりが灯っているというのもなんとも心強いものです。
