Once again, this place got lost in the dust when I changed my phone model, and I forgot to post a review (^_^;) I was taken to a drinking party by a client at [a:13162238, Ushihonke Shodaya], and afterwards, I happened to pass by and discovered this place. I'm not familiar with this area, and have only been to [a:13191952, Sakeen Kakashi], which is also a sake bar. It's located on a corner, and opened in October last year, so it's still new. There is a U-shaped counter seating in the center from the entrance, and there are also L-shaped counter seats on the right and against the back wall. There is a refrigerator on the wall in the opening of the U-shaped part. It seems that there is only one person working there that day, and there were two regular customers ahead of me.・[b:Fudo Junmai Genshu Aged Sake] / Nabe-dana (Kanzaki-cho, Chiba Prefecture) Founded in 1689 (Genroku 2), the shogunate gave them the title "Nabeza" before that, and since long-established stores were called "Otana" (shop) at the time, the brewery's name was a combination of the "Nabe" (pot) from Nabeza and the "Shop" from Otana. The brand name at the time of the brewery's founding was "Horai-san," but in 2004 (Heisei 16), they launched the "Fudo" brand for sake specialty stores. The Fudo authorized dealers include the familiar Kyoto [a:26025735, Meisukan Takimoto] and Hirakata [a:27070728, Sake no Yamamoto]. The sake I drank this time was a limited edition product brewed in 2002. The specifications of the sake rice are unknown, but the rice polishing ratio is 65%. Poured into a wine glass, the amber color shines, and it feels more like Islay whiskey than Shaoxing wine. Speaking of aged wine in Tokyo, there was the legendary Shinagawa store [a:13004954, Sake Cha Ron], but unfortunately it has closed. This was a drink that would have caught the eye of the manager of Nagoya's [a:23058333, Aged Aged Wine Elevage], who is always busy purchasing aged wine even on holidays. This time, it was just to try it out. Next time, I would like to enjoy Sumida River Brewing's kraut beer and food as my first stop.
