今週はど真ん中に祝日があったから、週末気分もそこそこといったところだし、行先の心当たりもそろそろ乏しくなるなか、無理に“カレーの日”にこだわることもあるまいと考えた週末金曜日
一方で、最近妙に絶賛している口コミ情報を目にして、ちょっと気になっているお店があるので、今週はそちらを優先することにしました
やってきたのは人形町の飲食店密集ゾーンで、ビルの地下にある「Washoku バル かめすけ」というお店
先月新規オープンしたことは私も承知していましたから、いずれ近いうちに入ってみようとは思っていたお店です
階段を下りて入ってみれば、お店はご店主と思われる年齢不詳の男性による1名体制
それほど広くはない店内は、オープンして間もないにしても、清潔感に溢れています
狭いスペースを有効に使う工夫もあってか、食器などをお洒落にディスプレイ収納しているあたりは、女性が好みそうな演出でもあるな
こちらへと案内されたカウンター席に着き、私がこれ一択とオーダーしたのは「A お魚の定食」とある「牡蠣フライ(1,000円)」
ちなみに、私にとって、これが今シーズンに初めていただくカキフライなんじゃないかな
カウンターの上に並んだ焼酎のボトルを見れば、どれも日常酒プラスαといった立ち位置の銘柄なところに好感が持てます
このあたり、聞いたことも見たこともない怪しげな安酒というのも困るけれど、だからといって、こけおどしにプレミア焼酎の空き瓶を並べているというのも下品なセンスですからね
で、注文を受けてからフライを揚げる音がしていたかと思うと、ほどなくやってきた「牡蠣フライ」の定食一式
メインの「牡蠣フライ」は、中型のサイズのものが4個で、さほどボリュウムはないけれど、形が不揃いなところが手作り感があって嬉しいし、味の方ももちろん文句なし
さらに嬉しいのは脇を固める小鉢類の充実ぶりで、丁寧に作られた茶碗蒸しまで付いていますから、一つ上のクラスの和定食といったところです
なるほどねぇ
これはたしかに人気店の予感
特に女性にはウケがいいかもなぁ
