I came to Amazake Yokocho for the first time in quite a while. This nostalgic and calm streetscape is nostalgic (*^-^*) This time I visited On Your Side, French cuisine located on the second floor of a building facing Amazake Yokocho. When you go up the elevator and get off on the second floor, you are already there. Surprisingly, there are counter seats inside the store, and from there you can look out onto the street from the table seating area, which is a little further down the steps. I had a really relaxing time with the chef, the woman in charge of service, and a very hospitable person♪ There are three types of lunch menus: curry set, stew set, and pasta set. All meals include a colorful salad, two types of deli, bread baked in the store or 16-grain rice, and coffee and tea. This time I ordered the stew set. For the alcoholic beverages, there was one glass of sparkling wine for 1,000 yen and one glass of Paydoc Chardonnay Reserve (900 yen) from among several white wines. While I was drinking a glass of sparkling wine, the food was served surprisingly quickly. The whole thing comes to you on a tray. The stew dish on the day of my visit was fricassee with bone-in young chicken and mushrooms. Personally, I've had the opportunity to eat fricassee here and there since the latter half of last year, and the sauce on this one dish was really beautiful. The chicken is also mild and overflowing with flavor, making this dish feel plump. The colorful salads have fresh vegetables and a gentle hint of vinegar, and even among deli items, the ratatouille has the scent of Epice, making it very sophisticated. Thank you for the meal (^^)
