渋谷駅から明治通り沿いに少し行った並木橋交差点近くにある居酒屋さん。
1Fがセブンイレブンで、その2F。路面店ではないが、2Fのほぼ全面に大きく店名が書かれているので意外と目立つ。
懇親会で宴会メニューを利用。
チムニーグループのブランドのひとつ。
チムニーといえば、そのルーツはイオン系のFC居酒屋としてバブルのころにはけっこうな店舗数で、昔なつかしい方も多いのではないだろうか。
いったんはイオン系列から離脱したものの、紆余曲折のすえ、現在は広い意味でのイオン傘下。
海鮮系の売りにする居酒屋で、チェーン店でありながら店舗ごとにオリジナルメニューやサービスがあるのが特徴だ。
「まぐろの解体ショー」が有名らしいが今回はお手軽に宴会コースだったので無縁。そもそもこの店舗でまぐろの解体ショーをやっているのかも不明。
宴会メニューは基本的に料理のみのセッティングとなり、ドリンク飲み放題は別に設定されていて、両方を合わせるとだいたい3,000円台から5,000円までくらいのレンジだ。
ドリンク飲み放題は、プラス300円で選択肢が広がる。一番の違いは、ビールが瓶のみか生ビールが飲めるか。
この価格帯で料理を提供するにはよく工夫されていて、「海鮮系」を謳うだけに刺身はあまりがっかりしない程度のものが提供され、揚げ物のガッツリ系でお腹を満たし、素材こそ安いものばかりを使っているが固形燃料の卓上コンロでする鍋があったりとツボをおさえている。
人数がそろい、料理を満喫するというよりはワイワイとやるには向いている。
