渋谷の新スポットとして生まれ変わったパルコの地下。飲食店を中心としたテナントが入るこのフロアに、串カツあらたさんのパルコ支店がありました。何やら、ランチで大阪スパイスカレーがいただけるというのと、限定価格980円（税別。本来は1,150円）というので、是非と思って入店しました。
夜はカジュアルな串カツ飲みを売りにしていることもあって、テーブル席も開放感を出しています。例の如く、1人なのでカウンター席へ。
串カツ＋ご飯というランチもある様ですが、この日の目的は大阪スパイスカレーなのでそちらに。サービス価格は並盛りに適用されるので、並盛りで。パクチーの要否を聞かれるので、入れて欲しい旨を伝えます。
さほど待たずに提供されますが、見た目はかなり本場大阪仕様にこだわっているのを感じます。
お味もスパイスカレーの方はさほど辛くありませんが、キーマがしっかり辛いのでバランス取れています。キャベツやオクラなど彩り豊かな野菜をスパイスがしっかりまとめている感じはしました。
ただ、名店との決定的な違いは、コクだということが改めてわかりました。あとは具材の僅かな臭みをしっかり抜ける様に作ることかな。逆に違いが分かったのも発見でした。
