渋谷駅から徒歩5分、道玄坂の中程にある餃子と中華料理の居酒屋である。1階と2階があり、1階はカウンターと小グループ向けテーブル席、2階は配置を変えるなどして大人数にも対応できるテーブル席が配置されているようである。間口は狭いが、2フロアあるため実質は大箱と考えて良い。
店内はいわゆる居酒屋風の内装で、椅子もパイプ椅子系のライトなデザインでチープ感を演出している。おそらく低価格帯をアピールするものと推察するが、ターゲットユーザーが限られてしまう可能性もあり、これからわかるだろうがメニューのコンセプトとの整合性はあるのだろうか?と考えてしまった。
結果として、店内を占めていたのは仕事終わりの若いサラリーマン、若いカップルや友人グループと、客層の若さが印象に残った。それならば価格帯や下町的な雰囲気も含めて妥当な路線であろう。
・アボカドと豆腐の金胡麻 638円
ダイス上にカットされたアボカドと水切りされた豆腐を使ったサラダ、トマトとレタスなどの葉物野菜に胡麻ドレッシングがかかった居酒屋ではポピュラーなサラダである。
・鉄板棒餃子 638円
餡の味付けはごく薄め、ただし具材はしっかり入っているので食べ応えはある。豆板醤やにんにく醤油のようなタレにアクセントがつけられるとなお良くなるのではないか?
・やみつき手羽先揚げ二本 308円
甘めのタレが絡められた手羽先の素揚げ、甘めではあるがあとを引くくどさがないのがよい。
・揚げ餃子 418円
皮の水分が抜けているような粉っぽさが気になった一品。値段からすれば妥当ではあるが、揚げ方の一工夫が欲しいところである。
・エリンギバター焼き 528円
バター醤油で狐色になるまで焼かれたエリンギであるが、添えられたニンニクの素焼きを薬味がわりにして食べる方式はなかなかのアイディアである。
・金の特製牛肉たれ餃子 505円
牛肉タレというのがポイント、汁気の多い甘辛の牛挽肉の肉そぼろを焼き餃子にかけたもの。他にも麻婆餃子などもあり、卓上にはタレのバリエーションがない代わりに餃子そのものにかけてしまうという、逆転の発想なのかもしれない。
・ブロッコリーと海老の塩炒め 858円
中華料理店の定番メニューであり、この店では高価格帯の一品である。味は悪くなく、海老の下処理もキチンとなされているようで、これは頼んで正解だった。
・手作り牛肉と椎茸水餃子 580円
水餃子の餡が牛挽肉と椎茸がメインとなった豪華な餃子である。黒酢ベースのタレがよく合うと思うが、残念ながらスタンダードな酢醤油と辣油のタレなので具材の良さがあまり出ていない。
・チャーシューチャーハン 858円
しっかりした醤油味のチャーハンで卵、小松菜なども彩として使われている。パラパラ系ではないが、しっとり系が好きなら悪くない選択であった。
