The sister store of Local Shibuya, which is popular in Shibuya Dogenzaka, has opened on the site where Kantipur, an Indian-Nepalese restaurant that has long been popular in Shibuya, used to be. The inside of the store was as spacious as ever, and strangely, it was filled with young Japanese people. It looks like they are having a joint party. There seems to be some kind of all-you-can-drink plan, and it seems to be working well. I ordered chicken biryani, thinking it was a group date or something nostalgic. There was also dal bhat, but I felt like biryani. When I tried it, it turned out to be basmati rice, but it was actually ketchup-flavored so-called "false biryani." Coupled with the fact that it contains chicken, it looks like chicken rice. That doesn't mean it's bad. Uso biryani is often made with Japanese rice, but basmati biryani is precious. The taste itself is just delicious chicken rice, so there is no problem. However, the problem for me is that there is too little curry or spice. We also added fish curry as a single item. This is Innepa-style fish curry. This is not bad either. On the other hand, this type of seasoning may be more approachable for young people. Curry enthusiasts are recommended to go to Dogenzaka. On the other hand, for those who are too much of a maniac, there is Uso Biryani made with basmati rice, which can be said to be valuable.
