Located halfway between Ebisu and Hiroo, about a 10-minute walk from either station, Fummy's grill Bistro serving Creative Cuisine popular with people of all ages and genders. I had bookmarked the restaurant for a long time, but after my first visit last year, I fell in love with it and have been returning for about the third time. It was dinner time on a Saturday, but luckily we managed to get reservation on the day. What we ordered: A bottle of white wine (Les Parcs Sauvignon, Touraine, France) Assorted carpaccio (2 servings) The beautiful carpaccio platter is a must-have dish when you come to Fummy's, whether it's your first time or a repeat visit! On this day, it was an assortment of six types of fish, including yellowtail, shrimp, conger eel, and bigfin reef squid. The generous sauce that comes with it is actually a homemade ponzu seaweed jelly. The accompanying vegetables are pickled, and you can mix and match them to your liking. Squid and watercress salad with anchovies and garlic Fried soft shell crab This is also one of the signature dishes, but this was my first time ordering it. The crispy fried shrimp and coriander are wrapped in spring roll skin, giving it a Peking duck-like taste. It was different from what I had imagined in a good way, but the crispy batter and the punchy sauce, which was like chili sauce, were addictively delicious. ・Roasted Hokkaido Ezo deer loin The huge venison is roasted at a low temperature, so the meat is moist and the flavor is tightly concentrated. With every bite, happiness spreads in your mouth, and the volume is also perfect and very satisfying. All the dishes are very filling, but they also use a lot of vegetables and are not too oily, so you can eat them without feeling guilty. lol And with this level of satisfaction, including alcohol, it is a restaurant that is easy to use on a daily basis, and anyone you bring will be happy. I also recommend the beet and octopus puttanesca, shrimp tomato cream linguine, and black pork meatballs wrapped in lemongrass that I had last time. However, there are still many dishes I want to try, so I will definitely return to this restaurant soon. If you like Ethnic Cuisine or Creative Cuisine, this is the place for you. The staff are very friendly and the atmosphere is homey, which is probably why there are so many regulars. Thank you for the meal!
