トーストモーニング。
トーストにミニサラダ、珈琲。そして茹で玉子か、ヨーグルトを選択。
自分、かねてより茹で玉子は料理なのか！？と思っている。
茹で玉子をそのまま提供し、殻を客に剥かせ、塩をかけて食う。何と投げやりな食い物なのか。
ホテル等でも、モーニングではオムレツとか、スクランブルエッグ、目玉焼き、これは料理と言える。だが茹で玉子は食材に過ぎず、それをそのまま食うのはいかがなものか…
そういった想いをプロントのスタッフには微塵も見せず、薄ら笑顔でヨーグルトをオーダー。
健康を考える人間がやはり、ヨーグルトだろうと、盲目的な信念がある。
半分切りのトーストに無理やりレタスを挟み込み、創作野菜サンドでいただく。
もちろん、ヨーグルトを最初に食する。
適度にホットコーヒーを挟む。このバランスが良いのではないか…
なんだかんだ御託を並べても、あっという間に食い終わる。
当店、エントランスから奥に伸び、2Fもある。駅の至近の当店でモーニングを頂いていると、まるでシャンゼリゼに居るかのような錯覚を覚えるのは秒単位の一瞬だが、朝のひととき、とても落ち着いた空間だった。
