A Japanese izakaya Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) that has been in business for over 80 years, ever since its founding Japanese-style meal shop. The reputation that the fish is delicious is evidenced by the long wait in line. For lunch, I ordered the mixed fry gozen (1,700 yen). Two large and plump shrimp. A thick and fatty horse mackerel. Freshly opened Oyster packed with flavor. Asparagus season has just begun. The batter is quite voluminous and has a light and crunchy texture. Combined with the sweetness characteristic of high-quality oil, it is delicious and filling. The good thing is that both tartar and sauce are available. I squeezed the lemon tightly and enjoyed it refreshingly! ...But since I took the opportunity, I also ordered an additional three-piece sashimi platter (+400 yen). The kitchen is surrounded by a counter, and the sashimi is prepared right in front of you. This is already exquisite. You'll want sake, but of course rice goes well too. Even just pairing it with rice and red clam stock makes it a great set meal. I've heard that fish is popular, but this is definitely delicious. Another great thing about the food is that the chef carefully prepares the food right in front of you. It's quite fun to watch the food being prepared for you. I later found out that the menu labeled Seafood Bowl was a set meal with assorted sashimi. I'm really curious about it, so if I have a chance, I'd like to eat it next time!
