恵比寿に所用で来たものの、また午後2時を過ぎて昼食難民になりかけ…。
とぼとぼ歩いていると、お、カレーの幟が出ている店があって、営業中らしい。
しばらくカレー食べてないし入ろうかな、と思って店の名前を確認すると「たまきん…ち」と来て、思わず二度見した。
ドアを開けるとこの時間でもおひとり様のお客さんが男女それぞれ2人バラバラに座っていた。
まずはナプキン＆フォーク、スプーンのセットとお水が用意され、メニュー決めにしばしの時間を取る。
メニューの一番上に載っている「ポークカレー（税込900円）」をご飯少なめでオーダー。
この時、メニュー真ん中に載っている生玉子（100円）やら唐揚げ（300円）、ヒレカツ二切れ（400円）…等」のサイドメニューを見落としていて後で少し後悔することになる。
待つ事、5分、カレーが運ばれてくる。
豚バラ肉がど〜んと乗っかり、ご飯もドーム型に綺麗にまとめられていてめちゃナイスなビジュアル。ルゥもたっぷり周辺含めて掛けられている。
豚肉はスプーンを軽く差し込むだけでホロリと崩れるとろける柔らかさ。
カレールゥも十分美味しい。(ちょっとレトルトカレーっぽい味だけど、僕は嫌いじゃない)
ホロリと崩しては豚肉とライスとルゥを食べる。その繰り返しをしているうちにちょっと味に飽きて来て3つ付いてきたらっきょを合間に食べるが、本当ここにサイドメニューの唐揚げやウインナー、生玉子があったほうが良かったな、と反省。次来た時はそうしよう。
上に乗るフライドオニオンチップは残念ながらカリカリ食感ではなく、柔らか。ここ改善希望。
やがて完食。水を飲んでも口の中はまだスッキリしきれなかったので、アイスコーヒーを追加で注文。セットだと200円とお得。お陰で口の中サッパリ。
美味しくいただきました。
ここで初体験。渋谷区のデジタル地域通貨「ハチペイ」を使ってみた。
アプリを落としていたので500円分はもうすでにもらっていて、さらに5000円分チャージをしておいたのでスムーズに決済。決済の合図に「ワンワン」と言われるのはちょっとオッさん的には恥ずかしいけど…便利でお得であることは確か。
