週末の夕食で訪問。
前から来たいと思っていたお店ですが週末は夕方から営業開始のため、なかなか来ることができませんでした。
食べログの店舗基本情報では18時開店となっているものの、この日はそれよりも早く開店していたようです。
18時ちょうどに到着、先客は２名。カウンター席に座ってメニューを拝見し、エビス生ビール@550円をオーダー。
お通し@500円の大根の漬け物と一緒に生ビールが到着。
大根の漬け物が紫蘇風味でうまい。
店内に続々とお客さんが来店。地元の常連さんのようです。
目的であるポークカレー@900円を早々にオーダー。
オーバルの皿の真ん中に丸くライスがよそわれていて、その上にアナゴかと思うぐらいのルックスの豚バラ肉が載っています。カレーが全体にかけられていて、白い部分は一切ありません。豚バラ肉にはフライドオニオンがかけられています。
カレーソースは舌触りが滑らか。家庭的なカレーですが、乳製品感があり洗練されています。甘口のように感じましたが、後味が意外と辛口で面白い。
大きな豚バラ肉はめちゃくちゃ柔らかく、スプーンで簡単に切断することができます。味も申し分なく、カレー屋さんの豚肉の中でトップクラスだと思います。これでたったの900円というのが信じられません。
次回は大人数で訪問して、色々なカレー、色々な料理をいただいてみたいと思います。ごちそうさまでした。
