赤坂店は何度か行った事があり、それなりに良い印象を持っていたので、
新宿でも利用してみる事にした。
この店の売りは、『全室個室』。
赤坂店の場合は、半個室みたいなのもあったりして、
例えば誰にも邪魔されたくない二人だけの空間を味わいに行こうと思って訪問すると、
部屋によって大当たりやハズレがある両極端で、少しがっかりするような事もあったりした。
新宿店はどうなのでしょう。
店内に入り、予約である旨を伝えると、店員さんが部屋まで案内してくれます。
見渡す限り半個室はなく、全てちゃんとした個室となっているように見えます。
実はこの日の昼、茅場町の長崎菜館で、豚丼の大盛りと
友達が残した大盛りチャーハンの１／４程を食べてしまい、
夜になってもお腹は全く空いていない状態･･･。
という事で、注文は全て一緒に行った人にお任せした。
最初に出てきたお通し。
里芋の煮付けと帆立に、ホウレン草が添えてあります。
なかなか上品な味付けで、これから出てくる料理にも期待が持てます♪
・ポテトフライ
・えいひれ
・ほっけ
・豆腐
・ネギトロ巻き
を頼み、私はそれぞれを少量ずつたべましたが、全て美味いと思った。
特に、ほっけ（北海道産しまほっけ）は、脂がのって身が柔らかく
お腹一杯でもめっちゃ美味しく食べられました。
欲を言うと、
大根おろさーの私としては、もっとたっぷりの大根おろしを添えて欲しかった。
（まぁ、普通の店レベルの量は添えてあるのだが。。。）
生グレープサワーは、グレープフルーツのつぶつぶがたっぷり入っていて、
これもなかなか新鮮っぽい感じがして良かった。
個室の雰囲気は、暗すぎもなく明るすぎでもなく、
程よい明かりのある部屋で、なかなか良い雰囲気が出ていた。
また機会があれば利用したいと思う。
