そろそろ牡蠣は提供されなくなる季節。
新宿で名物世界一の牡蠣フライを提供する当店へ。
この店はメインの品を組み合わせで定食を提供してくれるんですが、それをやると午後使い物にならなくなるので、単品オーダーで。
※牡蠣フライと煮魚とかの組み合わせ
本日は趣旨通り牡蠣フライ定食(1,580円)。
超巨大牡蠣フライが2個。子供の拳くらいのデカさです。牡蠣を5〜6個纏めてフライにしているそうです。キャベツとタルタルの上にライドン。
そこにライス、みそ汁、小鉢。
なんと、キャベツ、タルタル、ライス、みそ汁、小鉢はおかわり自由です。
牡蠣フライは幾つか集めているので、中は変に火が通り過ぎずにトロジューシー。
バカデカい牡蠣フライ一個でライスを平らげ、キャベツとタルタルお代わり。調子に乗ってライスを「軽く」でお代わり。
…軽くと言ったのに。
届いたのは最初の一杯と同じかそれ以上の盛り。
人として残すわけにはいかんので、小鉢、タルタルキャベツでサッパリさせつつ、残りの牡蠣フライで何とか完食。
二郎よりもキツい登山でした…
牡蠣提供可能時期であれば、夜も巨大牡蠣フライは出しているそーです。
決してお安い店では無いですが、煮魚やカレーなんかもきちんとした美味しいしものをいただけます。
