... vision of the previous generation, the restaurant opened in Tokyo after Kagoshima and Fukuoka. The porridge is the lifeblood of "Otsu", and is made by blending dried bonito flakes from Makurazaki, natural Rausu kelp from Hokkaido, and dried shiitake mushrooms from Oita, which are actually shaved in the store just before making the broth, bringing out the natural flavor. Of course, no chemical seasonings are used, and by being thorough about the broth and ingredients without compromise for about half a century, it is not only gentle on the body and stomach, but also has a rich flavor. Many repeat customers say, "It's low in calories but satisfying," and "You can eat it all up even when you're not feeling well." It is also nice that it is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and large portions are free. There are many unique types of porridge, and it is sure to overturn your concept of porridge.
