秋田に行った時に岩がきを食べてないことを後悔していたので、そういえば新宿の思い出横丁に牡蠣のお店があったな、と行ってみた。築地場外の地下にあるお店と同じところの仲卸がやっているお店。
まずは生ビールから。お通しは牡蠣のチーズクリーム。これが牡蠣の香りがむんむんで旨い。各産地の岩牡蠣から真牡蠣まであるが、せっかくの夏なのでシーズンの岩牡蠣を色々と食べてみた。お酒は日本酒にして４地方の牡蠣を味わう。どれも濃厚でそれぞれ違いがあって面白い。ただし、一つ一つそこそこのお値段してしまうので、これだけでお会計もそれなりに。
おじさんが酒一杯と牡蠣２杯をチュルっとやってすぐにお会計してたけど、そういう使い方もいいよなあ。
