I went to Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) that is directly connected to Shinjuku Sanchome Station. Four of us came to the restaurant on a Wednesday around 8pm after making reservations for seats online. The store was moderately crowded. It might be difficult to get in for free, so I'm glad I made a reservation online in advance. Since it has only been open for less than two years, the inside of the store is kept clean. We had a variety of dishes including Yakitori (grilled chicken skewers), obanzai, oden, saikyo-yaki duck, chicken skin Gyoza / Dumpling, bamboo steamer soba, and stew. My personal favorite was the stew! Overall, I thought the quantity of each item was small compared to the price, but the stew was different! An amount equivalent to 500 yen or more! Season the stew as strong as you like! Each piece of meat in the stew is large and good! Overall, I don't think it's bad. However, it's really easy to access, being directly connected to Shinjuku Sanchome Station and a 10-12 minute walk through the underground passage from Shinjuku Station, so you can go there without getting wet even on rainy days, so I think I'll have a chance to visit again. I learned that they serve set meals during lunch hours, and when I looked at the menu, it seemed like a good value for money, so I thought it might be a good idea to go there for lunch during my break from work.
