I had a weekday off and went shopping for the first time in a while. I went to New Matsuzaka Shinjuku because I was able to make a reservation for a limited lunch when I was looking for a place to eat lunch in Shinjuku at Tabelog. Time zone: Weekday lunch Seating: 45 seats Ordering method: Reservation required Price range: 3000~ [limited to 20 servings per day] Special Hamburg It says "Lunch" and I was able to make a reservation with good timing. The menu includes: - 100% Japanese black beef Hamburg (150g) - Salad of colorful vegetables - 3 kinds of grilled vegetables - Sauteed bean sprouts White rice with red miso soup and pickles - Coffee or tea - Today's dessert - under 3000 yen and you can enjoy authentic Teppan-yaki and Hamburg dishes. The salad with choreggi-style dressing. It is a stable taste. Three kinds of grilled vegetables. I personally enjoyed the slow-roasted lotus root with salt. Sauteed bean sprouts. The sautéed bean sprouts were a little extravagant with the aroma of butter and soy sauce. I chose white rice on this day. +I could have chosen garlic rice for ¥700 more, but I chose white rice because I was going to enjoy Hamburg and rice that day. The beef was 100% Kuroge Wagyu Hamburg and 150g of Hamburg was grilled right in front of me. The fluffy grilled Hamburg beef gives you a strong sense of the beef's flavor and makes the rice more appetizing. It is served with wasabi, rock salt and fresh black pepper as condiments. The fresh black pepper, which I had never tasted before, went so well with the juicy Hamburg beef that I spent the second half of the meal dipping it all over. I was very satisfied to be able to enjoy such an authentic Teppan-yaki dish in a casual setting. I will use the restaurant again for dinner.
