西新宿七丁目に11月1日オープンした「和牛食堂waigaya【s】」。
「サーモンビストロWAIGAYA」からのリニューアルで新宿三丁目「和牛ホルモンWAIGAYA」姉妹店です。
場所は「常圓寺」近くの飲食店が立ち並ぶ通り。
看板が小さく分かりにくいですが、「煮干ラーメン凪」左隣のオープンカフェ的な店です。
ランチメニューは以下のとおり。
「黒毛和牛カレー」800円
「黒毛和牛炙り丼」1200円
「薪焼きレアステーキ丼」1500円
ご飯の小・並・大・特盛無料。
また、「カフェフリー」でコーヒーやカフェオレなどソフトドリンクが何種でも注文できます。
店内はテーブル席にカウンター等で、広々として居心地よい雰囲気。
ランチコースを食べている方も居て、後で食べログを見たら1980円からランチコースがありました。
「薪焼きレアステーキ丼 並」1500円
ピラフ的なライスの上に巨大な玉子焼き。
その上にマンゴーの様にカットされた塊レアステーキが載って強烈なインパクトです。
塊レアステーキは赤身で、カット部分から除くロゼカラーが芸術的。
最後までカットされていないので、自分で好きな大きさにカットします。
切り目どおりにカットしてみると、なかなかのボリューム。
200g近くはありそうな感じです。
レアステーキはムチっと柔らかく、赤身らしいしっかりとした噛み応え。
さすがに黒毛和牛ではなく国産牛だそうですが、薪焼きだけあって美味しいです。
玉子焼きは生クリームか何かを使用して滑らかな口当たり。
具無しのキッシュの様でもあり、こちらもかなりのボリュームです。
ライスはナシゴレンっぽい炊き込みご飯で、ピリ辛加減がグッド。
ちなみに注文時に並350g、小250gと案内があり、肉も玉子も多いので並でも結構な量に感じます。
後半は肉をより小さくカットして食べやすくして完食。
見た目だけでなく味も量も良く、これで1500円は相当なCPだと思います。
姉妹店である新宿三丁目「和牛ホルモンWAIGAYA」のユッケランチも相当良かったですが、こちらも唯一無二のインパクト。
夜は黒毛和牛の薪焼きだけでなくカルパッチョやタルタルもあり、相当期待できます。
