A pot-au-feu shop in the Shinjuku Gyoenmae area! It's located next to the very popular Manda Jiro and China Soba Sawada, so this one is also very popular. Is it probably an affiliate of Hamburg Will? They use Iwanaka pork, and the menu has a similar feel to it. LOL It's open for lunch and there are counter seats, so it's a restaurant that's easy to come by even if you're alone. This time I ordered a basic pot-au-feu! I topped it with Oyster ~ Pot-au-feu seems to mean a hot pot in France, so it was served piping hot just off the fire. It had a nice visual with a half-boiled egg on top, and above all, I was surprised by the amount of toppings! It comes with plenty of ground meat, sausage, cabbage, carrots, radish, lotus root, maitake mushrooms, sweet potatoes, potatoes, spinach, and salad! This is a delicious pot-au-feu that is good for your health... It's spiced and warms your body! It's centered around minced Iwanaka pork, packed full of flavor, and goes well with rice.
