新宿は、大久保通り…ＪＲ山手線新大久保駅とＪＲ総武線大久保駅の間、どちらかというとＪＲ大久保駅寄りにある平禄寿司 東京新宿大久保店。
平禄寿司と言えば、今まで行ったところのある 平禄寿司 東京府中店と平禄寿司 浜松町店 はすでに閉店。
昔からあり、今は表参道ヒルズの目の前にある平禄寿司 渋谷表参道店には昔行ったけど、この頃はご無沙汰。久しぶりの平禄寿司となるのだ。
平日の夜９時、店内は半分閉鎖され、狭い場所に押し込まれたのだ。まあ、お寿司を握れる（というか作れる）店員さんがひとりぐらいしか）いないので仕方ないかもしれないが…。まあ、注文を忘れるなど、サービスはイマイチ。それと、まあ、105円なりのネタという感じなのだ。なお、ここは人の手で握るのではなく、自動握り機（寿司 ロボット、シャリ玉成形機）でのシャリの上にのせるタイプの回転寿しなのだ。
