When I watch the Korean drama “39 Years Old” on Netflix, there are so many food scenes that make me want to eat Korean Cuisine! So, I came to Shin-Okubo. Most Korean Cuisine restaurants in my neighborhood only serve pure tofu and bibimbap, but when you come to Shin-Okubo, you have a lot of options. When you order a dish on Joan Day, a buffet comes with it, and you can also eat all you can eat ganjang gejang! That's why I chose it. The ganjang gejang had a bit of a smell from the shell, but it was quite delicious. Particularly delicious among the buffet were the cucumber kimchi and honey potatoes. Honey's potatoes are coated with sugar like Candied sweet potatos (but potatoes are still potatoes). The japchae and chijimi I had hoped for were cold, which was a bit of a disappointment.The ``Gamjatang'' I ordered was ``a hot pot of stewed pork backbone and potatoes,'' so I ate it for the first time. But spices? I don't like the flavor and can hardly eat it. . I wonder if they put a lot of it in there to get rid of the smell of pork?
