ラトマトさんは初めてです。
他のカレー百名店が早じまいだったので、プラン変更し、前から来たかった優先順位上のお店でした。
店内は広くて新し目。ネパールの方と思われる先客が10名ほどいらっしゃいます。
ラトマトとはネパールの赤土の事のようです。こちらの食器のほとんどがこのラトマトで作られた土器マトカなんです。
店名からしてネパールの方の心に響くものがあるのではないでしょうか。
スープモモとマトカマトンビリヤニをオーダー。
どちらの料理も赤っぽくてざらついた手触りの食器。ラトマトで作られたマトカの特徴なんですねー。
さて、そのスープモモは激ウマで、辛い。
スープはやや冷たいけどモモが熱い。狙ってるのかどうなのか？私の舌と脳にスパイスがダイレクトに響きます。ざらついたスープはスプーンですくうと、いろいろなスパイスが入っているのがわかる。過去一うまいスープモモと出会ってしまった。
マトンビリヤニはパイ生地の蓋がされていて、崩しながら食べ進める。上部はパラパラ、底の方がはしっとりでこれもうまい。ライタヨーグルト付き。
食後のチャイの甘さも絶妙でこれにも大満足。
やはりこのお店は素晴らしい。
