申し訳ございません。僕は、席の指定・過敏症です。
平日の13時半頃、ランチタイム本番の喧騒も過ぎたころ、お店に入る。
案の定、もう食事が終わって店を出る感じの客が数組だけの空いている状況。
僕にとっては、ゆっくりランチができるコトが何より重要なのかも知れない。
が、その状況にもかかわらず、席の指定方式。
お店のキマリなら従う。
ガランと空いている４人掛けテーブル席は使わせてもらえず、２人掛けの席を指定される。
さらに、壁際。
Yシャツのゆき丈で言えば86cmの人間は、テーブルから身が飛び出してしまうのである。
度々別の店でも書いてきたが、デカいのは、僕のセイで、お店に何ら問題は無い。
でも、白鳳とかが来店しても、同じ対応なのだろうか？と思ってしまう。
この席案内方式に潜んでいるのは、将来来店予想客に対する優しい考えであり、現に今来店している客には厳しい考えではなかろうかと思う。
また、特にコロナ禍の状況下、食後の席の清掃に要する手間の最小化も考えられているかも知れない。
広々としたガランと空いた店内の多くの４人掛けのテーブル席の横の、狭い２人掛けテーブル席で孤独に食べるランチが苦手な症候群なのである。
でも、突き詰めて考えれば、清掃の縮小化や、現に来店している客よりも、その後来るか来ないかわからない客に優しい方式という部分において、そのお店の想定利益優先主義のシステムなのではないか？と思ってしまうのである。
さて、ランチである。
コレも度々書いているが、僕のささやかな抵抗。
一番安いメニューを選ぶ。
この店の場合、650円～980円だったが、流石に最安値の「稲庭うどん定食」には、惹かれず、次に安いモノにした。
ホントは、「縞ほっけ定食」980円だと思い入店した店だったのだが…。
「若鶏のみぞれ煮定食」(750円) ―― 写真の通り。
かなりレアな感じの鶏肉のみぞれ煮だった。
中が赤みをさす感じで、柔らかいのだが、引きちぎり感もレアな雰囲気で、引きちぎりづらい。
唐揚げの浅揚げに、大根おろしとポン酢を混ぜて和えたような感じで、そのポン酢っぽい味が薄く、ご飯がすすまない。
汁も漬物も、全体的にそういう感じのコンセプトなのだろうが、はんなりと淡く、薄味でつくってあるという感覚よりも、単に薄い、味が足りないという感覚。
ごちそうさまでした。
コレも言い訳っぽくなるが、過去には、同様、同様以上の接客でも味が良ければそれなりの評価はしてきたつもりだ。
『背中が壁面にくっつく感じで、狭い。右横に、２人入られたら、もう出れない感じの席で、ある意味、磔の刑である。』とまで書いた上板橋駅近くの「魂の中華そば」などは、美味しかったので「3.5」の評価をした。
腹いせに書いているのでは無いという部分は承知願いたい。
※2014年8月の「3.0」評価だけの下書きが残っていたが抹消して、本文に書き換えた。
何となく記憶にはある。数人で飲みの２，３店舗目に流れた店だったと思う。
