■oh!way風牛すじシチューかけハンバーグ¥1,100（税込）
池袋は、ハンバーグの人気店が多い。『キッチンチェック』や『ウチョウテン』などが有名だが、それらに並ぶ人気の洋食店が『キッチン Oh!Way』だ。
年末の13:30頃に訪問。外にひと組、中にひと組待ちで、15分ほどで入店。店内は、おもちゃ箱のように、さまざま雑貨や写真、インテリアが飾られている。
当店の人気メニューが、ハンバーグ。さまざまなメディアでも紹介される特に人気メニューが、店名を冠した「oh!way風牛すじシチューかけハンバーグ」。こちらをライス付きでお願いした。
5分ほどで到着。ハンバーグは、丸みを帯びた肉肉しいタイプ。粗挽き肉の粗々しさが残るワイルドな噛みごたえ。ソースはシチューという感じよりも、お上品なデミグラスソースで、思っていたよりも濃厚すぎず。それが、oh!way風ということだろう。途中ソースがなくり、もっとソースがあったら嬉しいところ。付け合わせの、トマトやにんじん、じゃがいもも美味しい。
サラダやスープは付いておらず、その分¥1100とリーズナブルなハンバーグランチ。池袋のハンバーグランチで覚えておきたいお店だ。
