I had always been curious about this restaurant, which is located on the corner of an area swarming with pimps, across the five-way intersection from where Marui used to be, from Ikebukuro Station, and this was my first time visiting. I popped in and it was full, but there were two salarymen who were just about to pay the bill, so I went to the counter instead. Yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) is ordered by the plate, not by the book, but if you don't say anything, it will be served with sauce, and if you prefer "salt," it's important to make it clear when ordering; sometimes they forget your order, so it might be a good idea to write it down on a piece of paper. The stewed offal was also delicious and satisfying.
