I wanted to eat Fried Skewers, so I called and made a reservation the day before. The telephone response was very good. The location is on the 2nd floor of a building next to Ikebukuro West Exit [a:rstlst, Mongolia Tanmen Nakamoto]. The interior has a bar-like atmosphere with only counter seats and dim lighting. It's an selection course where Fried Skewers are served until you stop. The system includes an appetizer, raw vegetables, and sauce set for 800 yen. 1 to 12 Fried Skewers are 250 yen. The 13th bottle is 150 yen. There are also a la carte dishes other than Fried Skewers. (Hiyayakko, sashimi, karasumi, etc.) I usually go to [a:rstlst, Tachiyoshi] in Shinjuku, but since I couldn't make reservations and was a bit in a rush, I visited Kazuki for the first time. Appetizers: Mozuku and sesame tofu Vegetables: Cabbage, radish, carrot, cucumber Sauce: Karasumi salt, red wine-based Worcestershire sauce, white wine-based tartar, dashi soy sauce Fried Skewers: Enoki pork belly rolls, Kisses, Bitter melon pork belly rolls, Sasami mentai, Bamboo shoots (Plum meat sauce) Quail Bacon-wrapped zucchini Shiitake Mushrooms Beef loin Ginkgo Lotus roots Hanpen cheese Up to now 250 yen per piece Asparagus From now on 150 yen per piece Shishito pepper Konnyaku (Yuzu pepper) Young corn bacon-wrapped Shrimp shiso-maki Green beans pork belly-wrapped Mushroom ( Garlic butter) Kazunoko Scallops Pork fillet Asparagus Palm tang is battered on only one side. The amount spent/per person was a bit high (the bill was about 16,000 yen), but the sashimi was 900 yen, so I ordered it, but somehow due to a misunderstanding of the words, I ordered two kinds of red sea bream and bluefin tuna. It's gone. The sashimi cost 1,800 yen, and I guess it was because I drank a lot of Oolong High... Fried Skewers are generally small. It may be good for girls to eat a variety of foods, but it may not be enough for boys. There were some skewers that I thought were expensive at 250 yen each, but after the 13th skewer, it seemed like a good deal. This time, I really liked the following: Chicken fillet mentaiko (chicken fillet, but very moist) Beef loin (with horseradish) Mushrooms (garlic butter was delicious) Kazunoko (seasoned Kazunoko, this is my first time Fried Skewers, but it's pretty good) The sashimi bluefin tuna melts in your mouth and is about 5 pieces, but I think 900 yen is cheap. The Karasumi salt sauce is very delicious and recommended. I don't like sweets, so I was about to give up Ice cream but when I found out that it was homemade rum raisin, I tried it and it was delicious! The alcoholic scent of rum raisin is a taste for adults. This is just my personal opinion, but I wish there had been mustard.
