1st basement floor of Building 8, Tokyo Fukushi University Ikebukuro Campus. It's not in the basement of Junkudo Bookstore, so don't make a mistake. The entrance is via stairs from outside the building. The restrooms are shared in the building, so exit from the store through a door with an emergency exit sign to the outside passage. On your way back from the restroom, there is no store signage on the aisle, so it might be confusing for first-timers. |
パンが絶品とかねてから噂で聞いていたRACINEでランチコースいただいてきました。
階段を降りた店内はお花が飾られていたりワインセラーがあったり素敵な雰囲気です。
この日わたしが選んだのはSAISONコース。
パン、スープ、サラダ、メインは天元豚のグリル、デザートのプリンに飲み物がついて税込¥3500
まずは名物のプレミアムブレッドからスタート。
まだ温かい(≧▽≦)
白いクリーム状のバターが添えられてきました。
このプレミアムブレッドはちぎりパンとなっていて、半分こして自家製バターとともにいただくとのこと。これがまた噂通り、ふわっふわで香り高く、溶けたバターのほのかな塩気とパンの甘さがもうたまらない。
メインが来る前に一瞬にして食べてしまいました。
サラダはオーガニック野菜で、トッピングの野菜も美味しいし別ビンで添えられた大葉と生たまねぎのドレッシングがもう絶品。大葉のキツさがなくクリーミーでいくらでも食べれるドレッシングでした。
天元豚のグリルも、柔らかくて脂っこくなく美味しかったですが、すこーし味が濃い目な印象。
チャバタがついてきたのですがチャバタは塩気と油が多めで私は食べれず、プレミアムブレッドを残しておけばよかったと後悔。。。
デザートのプリンは濃厚焼きプリンでこちらも美味しかったです。
100メートルもしない先にRACINEのパンやさんがあり、そこでプレミアムブレッドと美味しかった大葉と玉ねぎドレッシングを購入しました。
