2022年8月某日の19時頃に訪ねた。
池袋駅から徒歩2分ほどの場所にあるカジュアルなイタリアンレストラン「ブルーオーシャングリル」。
広い店内は5割程度客で埋まっていた。食事をしていると続々と来店があった。
予約している旨を伝え、テーブル席に2人で座る。
まずは「モヒート」¥770を注文。やや甘さ強めだが、スッキリとしたミントの香りが楽しめるモヒート。夏らしさを感じる一杯。
お通しにはトウモロコシの冷製スープが提供される。トウモロコシの仄かな甘みとオリーブオイルの風味が心地好い。
本日のカルパッチョ5種盛合わせ ¥1,760：タコも含む刺身5種を使ったカルパッチョ。程好い塩梅で野菜を散りばめて盛り込まれているので、食べやすさはある。マグロ、鯛などはスッキリとした味わいで良い感じ。それほどクセが無いのが良い。
広島産牡蠣と厚切りベーコンのアヒージョ ¥880：それほど大きくないココットに入ったアヒージョ。牡蠣とベーコンにほうれん草も合わせているが、具材のバランス的には良い感じ。塩気がオリーブオイルにしっかり感じられる。「窯焼きパン3種の盛合せ」¥385と共に味わう。ふんわりと仕上がったパンは良い味。
渡り蟹のビスククリームソース ¥1,595：やや甘めのクリーミーなソースを纏ったパスタ。渡り蟹の身はそれほど無いが、蟹の旨味はしっかり感じられる。モヒートから「樽生白ワイン（カラフェ）」¥2,310に切り替えてパスタを味わう。スッキリした味わいの白ワインは飲み応えがある。
駅近くにあって使い勝手の良いシーフード推しのイタリアンレストラン。料理はそれなりに良く、これと言ったハズレ料理は無い。この日は結構混んでいたが、予約しているとあまり騒がしくない席に通してくれたのでそれなりに居心地は良かった。次回はランチでも利用してみたいと思う。
