I visited with a friend after watching a classical concert at the Tokyo Metropolitan Theater. The store is located in the basement of a building about 2 minutes walk from the theater. When you go down the stairs, you'll find a dimly lit interior with a counter and about 10 table seats, which looks cozy. First we toasted with beer and then moved on to wine. I ordered a salad, grilled eggplant, and grilled lamb chops to see how my stomach was doing. There was only one grilled lamb chop per person, so I still had some room, so I added a little more and ordered tripe, various beans stew in bianco, and fried Oyster. The fried Oyster were crispy and delicious. Perhaps because Trippa is used to tomato sauce, the bianco stew felt a little unsatisfactory. . . When I read the reviews later, the pasta looked delicious, so maybe I should have finished the meal with pasta. The staff's response was also prompt and pleasant. Thank you for the meal.
