仕事終わりに同僚女子とパフェモード。池袋駅西口（北）から徒歩3〜4分、トキワ通り近くの雑居ビルB1Fに入居するカフェバー。店名の通り界隈では珍しい夜のみ営業のパフェ屋さん。
お店のコンセプト的に男1人での訪問を躊躇していたが、グルメ仲間の同僚女子を誘ってみると二つ返事でOKしてくれたので、とある火曜日19時頃お邪魔。先客は3組8名と落ち着いている。
1人1品のパフェオーダーがマスト。また、パフェは6種類から選択し単品もしくはドリンクセットが用意されており、ソフトドリンクもアルコールもそれなりの種類あり。
僕はミモザパフェ1980円を＋400円でダイキリとのドリンクセットで、同僚女子はピスタチオとチョコレートのパフェ1980円を＋300円でスーパードライとのドリンクセットでそれぞれ発注。
15分ほどでサーブ。
まずは店員さんによるそれぞれのパフェの説明がなされるが、ビジュアルとボリュームに意識が行って正直あまり覚えていないw
僕のミモザパフェ。渡された説明書によれば19種類もの材料を使っているそう。上の層は菊の花やレモンやパッションを使ったメレンゲなどがあしらわれ、まるでミモザの花束のような華やかさを演出。食べ進めると、ベルガモのソルベや金柑のコンポートなど柑橘系の酸味とソフトクリームやカタラナなどの甘みが複層的に絡み合っていく。なんという複雑なお味と食感。美味(*´꒳`*)
同僚女子のパフェは細長いカクテルグラスに飾られ、高さがあり映えまくっている。見た感じ食べにくそうだったが、美味い美味いと気持ちよい食べっぷり。付き合ってもらってる意識があった手前、喜んでくれてるようでホッとひと安心(*´-`)
パフェ後に運ばれてきたダイキリがカクテルグラスではなくコップでサーブされてしまったのがちょっと残念だったのを除き、感動体験を味わうことができてなかなか良かった(∩･∀･∩)
