店内は、1階にカウンター席やテーブル席が、2階や地下には、掘りごたつ席や完全個室のテーブル席があります。
4-10人で利用できる個室席はもちろん、最大50人まで利用できる掘りごたつ個室もあるので、少人数でも大人数でもどんなシチュエーションでも利用しやすいですね。
年齢層も20-60代と幅広い層の方が来ていて男女比も半々なので、誰でも入りやすいです。
メニューは、名物の藁焼きからお造り、お寿司、逸品物、サラダ、お肉、〆まで一通りのものが揃っています。
これだけ揃っているからこそ、どんなメンツで来ても楽しむことができますよね。
その日のおすすめメニューは、紙に書かれています。
せっかくお魚総本家に来たなら、名物の藁焼きとお刺し身5点盛りを頼むのがおすすめです。
まずは、お通しです。冬に行ったこの日は、おでんでした。
お魚総本家は、季節に合わせてお通しが変わるので、お通しから満足度が高いです。
藁焼きを頼むと、カウンターの目の前でパフォーマンスをしてくれます。
店内の明かりを消して本格的にファイヤーしてくれる時もあるので、その時がシャッターチャンスですよ。
お魚総本家名物のかつおの藁焼きは、このかつおの分厚さがすごいです。
なんと2cmくらいも厚さがあります。
そのまま食べても、塩やにんにくなどと食べても美味しいので、こちらはぜひ頼んで欲しいです。
もう一つのおすすめお造り5点盛りです。
左から反時計回りにさわら、まぐろ、なまたこ、しめ鯖、かんぱち、サーモン、巻物です。
「あれ、7種類ない？」と思った方、鋭いですね。
私の経験上、お魚総本家は、「5点盛り」と言いながら、いつも2点サービスしてくれます。
こういうホスピタリティは、すごく嬉しいですよね。
お刺し身も身がすごく分厚く、肝心のお味も、新鮮なお魚でめちゃめちゃ美味しいです。
他のどのお料理も美味しいので何を選んでも外れがないです。
お料理、雰囲気、接客どれも素晴らしいのですが、個人的に良いなと思う点は、〆のご飯を食べ終わった後に温かいお茶と新しいおしぼりを出してくれるところです。
経費削減でなくしているお店も多いですが、最後までこういうおもてなしの心を感じられると「また来たい！」と思えますよね。
カウンター席でカジュアルなデートとして使うのもあり、テーブル個室席で会社の飲み会で使うのもあり、早朝4時まで営業しているので友人との朝まで飲みで使うのもあり、というどんなシチュエーションでも使えるお店です。
