Neo Masses Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) Kurakura is located right outside the North Exit of Ikebukuro Station, just a dozen or so seconds from the ground level. Anyway, I wanted to fill my stomach in the station area, so I visited for the first time on a weekday after 8:30 p.m. The restaurant is divided into the first and second floors. The atmosphere is a bit suspicious with neon lights. Smoking is allowed on all floors, and although there were a few customers, basically only young people were in the restaurant. There was no explanation about ordering at least three dishes, as described in other posts. The menu seems to be 500 yen for a single drink or food item. There are drinks that look like they would look good, an extremely dangerous drink called the Tequila Ferris Wheel (5,500 yen), and many food items on the menu that are not 500 yen. For now, we ordered the standard Fried food dishes, sashimi, Yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) and so on. There was also Oyster from Iwate Prefecture, so I ordered Oyster, which is listed as "Nama Yakimushi" (fresh steamed food). ＜I ordered the following menu: - Raw Oyster (from Iwate) 500 yen - Fried potatoes 500 yen -Karaage 500 yen - 3 pieces of Yakitori (Momo, Sasami, Seseri) 500 yen - Teppan Chorizo 500 yen -Seafood 5 pieces 790 yen - Maple Formaggio 990 yen The raw Oyster is a rather large and firm fish Oyster with grated autumn leaves and lemon. I enjoy it with grated maple leaves and lemon. Fries and Karaage are normal. Seafood 5-piece dish is not much considering that each person gets 5 slices. The chorizo was sizzling in a skillet but was cold inside. Yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) The maple formaggi was a dessert type pizza with cheese and sweetness. The maple formaggi was cheesy, sweet, and dessert-like. The portion was too small for 500 yen, so 300 yen would have been acceptable. In addition, there is an additional charge of 500 yen per person for an appetizer (macaroni salad). In addition, there is a late-night charge of 300 yen per person if you stay after 10:00 p.m. Drinks are 500 yen per drink, and there is a mega drink that is twice the price, but it costs 900 yen, so it is only 100 yen cheaper, but it is not worth it. The cost for two people exceeded 10,000 yen, so we cannot deny that it is somewhat overpriced. The fact that smokers can smoke cigarettes without hesitation is a plus point for smokers.
