I heard that a popular Ochanomizu restaurant had opened in Ikebukuro, so I was planning to go there soon, but since I finished work in Omiya and it was a little late, I decided to stop by. Well, it was well past noon, so the timing was perfect. There was a choice of three types of soup for Motsu-nabe (Offal hotpot), but the staff didn't give any explanation, so if I just told them it was Motsu-nabe (Offal hotpot) set, they would probably choose miso. I wanted you to hear it. It will be piping hot at first, but since it's not on the stove, it will cool down after a while. The taste of the hot pot was okay, but the rice was bad. I don't really like white rice, but I couldn't eat it because it felt like leftover rice that had been kept too warm and had been reheated. I was a little disappointed as the staff did not seem to welcome customers and I had high expectations. Since there are various other dishes, it may be better to eat at night.
