5 minutes from Takadanobaba Station. After passing through the shopping district and turning the corner, you will see a stylish and relaxed interior. It's a nice and cozy restaurant. They say you should definitely try Oita's specialties, Toriten, Ryukyu, and Nakatsu fried chicken. I ordered Ryukyu, Toriten, fried and marinated jade eggplant, and a highball. Amberjack seasoned with Kyushu's sweet soy sauce and sesame seeds. My favorite ♡ Just as expected, it was super fresh and delicious~~~~ The jade eggplant was a little strong in flavor. Was it because it was an appetizer? The Toriten was completely different from what you usually see at udon restaurants. In the middle, there is a yam wrapped in shiso leaves, and the batter seems to have been put together in a unique way. When eaten with pickled plum, it was hot, crispy, and delicious! Encouraged by the deliciousness of everything we ate, we ordered additional fried horse mackerel and Nakatsu fried chicken. The fried horse mackerel was served with pickled eggplant tartare sauce. The tartare sauce was delicious, and the horse mackerel was plump and thick, giving it a top-notch taste. The Nakatsu fried chicken was a bit too salty for my taste, but it was deep-fried in a round shape like a fist. Finally, we were served a red miso soup with clams, and it was a very satisfying dinner.
