Takadanobaba, horse sashimi, and today, August 29th, is horse meat (829) day! It's a date that seems to be called horse sashimi. I went there with my friend, who was born in Kumamoto and loves horse sashimi, and my friend, who was born in Kagoshima and has never tried horse sashimi. It's a street lined with restaurants, and you can't find a restaurant like this unless you search on Google or Tabelog. I am grateful for SNS. A spacious underground space. There's a horse headgear at the entrance...I wonder when I'll use it. ``Compare all types of horse sashimi (2,980 yen)'' This is definitely the one I recommend. Basic horse sashimi is red meat and white mane (koune). The Kyushu style is to eat both at the same time. There are a total of 5 types to compare. The above-mentioned ``red meat'', ``mane'', ``special marbled meat'', ``tataki'', and ``futaego'', which is between fatty meat and lean meat. Each piece has its own characteristics and is delicious, but the marbled quality of the high-quality parts is exquisite. The red meat was delicious, so I ordered it separately afterwards. Each part can be ordered separately. Satisfying horse sashimi. My friend who tried horse sashimi for the first time also said it was delicious, so I think the taste is amazing. The a la carte menu isn't outstanding either, but it's a delicious a la carte dish. The seared bonito is a good surprise with rock salt and lots of seasonings. Iburigakko, which has become standard these days, is included in potato salad. This time I went for a non-alcoholic drink, but they also have a variety of alcoholic beverages that go well with horse sashimi, such as Kirishima and Oita barley shochu. The horse sashimi here is sure to go well with alcohol. Horse sashimi is definitely delicious! 829/Horse Meat Day has reminded me of this. Thank you for the meal.
