仕事帰りに同僚と。高田馬場駅から東へ徒歩10分ほど、早稲田通り沿いのビル1Fに店舗を構えるイタリアン。アブルッツォ地方ご出身のオーナーのもと、イタリア大使館の元総料理長が腕を振るう人気のトラットリア。
'23イタリアン百名店受賞店。
数日前に予約の上、とある火曜日20時頃お邪魔。ど平日ながら満席の店内は、展示物のあれやこれやに店主のアブルッツォ愛が溢れている。イタリアの方と思われるお客さんもちらほら。
まずは白ワインで乾杯し、アテとして数品を発注。
以下、提供順に。
◆自家製サラミの盛り合わせ
モモ、バラ、イノシシ、肩ロース、さらにオーナー自慢のサラミペーストをオンザブルスケッタしたスペシャリテ。まったり滑らかな食感に適度な塩気がワインのお供向き。スパイスの練り込んであるイノシシは弾力があり、噛めば噛むほど味わいが増す必食アイテム(∩･∀･∩)
◆伝統ラザニア
分厚いパスタを4層重ねた間に粗々しい挽肉をぶっ込んでチーズたっぷりのトマトソースで仕上げた一品。もっちりとしたパスタは分厚く食べ応えあり。トマトソースの味わいが控えめなので、肉の旨みが一段と引き立つ仕様。
◆薄切り牛サガリのグリル ルッコラサラダ添え
薄切りではあるものの弾力と柔らかさを感じられ、噛むほどに肉汁と旨みが溢れ出るジューシーな牛サガリ。添えられたルッコラの香りとイタリアントマトの甘酸っぱさが良いアクセント。美味しかった〜(*´艸`*)
途中から常連さんと思われるイタリア人のおじさんがアコーディオンを弾きながら気持ち良く歌いだした。肩肘張らない気安さもまた人気の理由の１つなのだろう。ほんとに美味しくて、楽しいお店でした(∩･∀･∩)
