The only fresh caviar specialty store in Japan
Founded in 1988 (Showa 63), Yosakoi Caviar is the only store specializing in fresh caviar. Since 2004, we have been making caviar from sturgeon raised in Haruno, Kochi, using only high-quality natural |
間と一緒に おいしいお寿司ケーキです。 English: I visited on a weekday lunchtime. This shop is located in the center of Omotesando's main street, one block west of Ralph Lauren. I had no idea there was a caviar shop like this on the second floor of this building. I went up the stairs to the second floor and was shown to a private room with a good view outside. There were no other customers. Perhaps they have been affected by COVID-19, or perhaps they only have customers in the evenings. I ordered the Yosakoi Caviar (16g) Course for 18,150 yen. This does not mean that every dish contains caviar. 16g of caviar was served mid-way through. I don't think this course meal would be complete without the other dishes being delicious as well, but every dish was delicious. The caviar, the main attraction, was the most delicious I have ever eaten. Yosakoi Caviar is: "Yosakoi Caviar is extra fresh caviar that is raised for over eight years in the underground waters of the Niyodo River in Kochi Prefecture and prepared by the chef of Beluga, Japan's only caviar specialty store. It melts in your mouth and has a rich, creamy taste. This extra fresh caviar has a low salt content, so you can enjoy a light yet refined taste." (Original text) By the way, the place of origin is where it is processed, so this caviar is from Harajuku. Thank you for the delicious meal.
