表参道にある一軒家のアジアンレストラン「タヒチ」
東京メトロ半蔵門線・表参道駅から徒歩7分ほど、南青山の閑静な住宅街にあるお店です。
白を基調としたコロニアルな一軒家。窓から光が差し込み、南国リゾートに訪れたような感覚が楽しめます。
全てタイ人シェフによる本格タイ料理がメインのアジアンレストラン。本格的なバーも併設しています。
メニューは、鶏のグリーンカレー、ガパオライス、グリーンカレーなどに、夏限定冷やしトムヤムそうめん等。あれば食べたいパッタイをお願いしました。サラダか本日のスープが付きます。
タヒチというお店の名前でも、タヒチアン料理、タヒチアンダンスはありません（笑）
焼きそば大好きパッタイをお願いしました。
【本日のスープ】
「海老とイカのトムヤムクンスープ」
エビや香味野菜の香りや旨みがスープに溶け込み、酸っぱ辛さが、後をひくスープです。
【メイン】
「タイ風焼きそば“パッタイ”」
海老、鶏肉、豚肉、ニラやもやしなどの野菜、炒めた卵を中細の平麺“センレック”に合わせた焼きそば。プリっとした海老、ニラの香りや卵の焼いた香り、食感が賑やかで食べ飽きない一品。
青山の素敵な一軒家レストラン、もともと、どなたかのお家だったのですか？と伺うと、元のオーナーがタヒチにあった素敵なお家をイメージして再現されたそうです。
外は静か、海外からのセニョールセニョリータがいらしたり、内装インテリアを見たりしていると、ここはもしかしてパペーテか？と勘違いしそう。
