ニューヨークで人気を博したパンケーキの名店です。
MORNING DRINK SETをいただきました。珈琲はスッキリした味で、口に含んだ瞬間に華やかな紅茶のような香りがします。朝は濃すぎないコーヒーを好む方にはお薦めです。
エッグベネディクトはオランデーズソースで味付けされた、パンやベーコンや卵などの具材との組み合わせに安定感があります。ソースの塩加減とのバターの風味が良く、柔らかい半熟卵を割って食べるのが堪らなく美味しいです。
パンケーキはふわふわで、優しい甘さが物凄く美味しいです。NYで人気が出るのが納得です。乗っているブルーベリーも美味しく良いアクセントですが、付属しているメープルバターソースが抜群です。林檎とメープル、微かなシナモンが本当に美味いです。このソースのためにまた食べに来たいと思う程でした。
あまりに美味しい食事だったので、スコーンとマフィンを購入しましたが、こちらも素晴らしい出来栄えでした。珈琲とよく合い、朝食やおやつにピッタリです。
平日の朝一に伺いましたが、続々お客さんが来店しており、退店時にはもうすぐ満席になりそうな状況でした。予約が出来るようなので、混雑が心配であれば利用すると良いかと思います。
