近代的なハイアットのラウンジレストランで
重厚感はそれほどないのですが、一つ一つの
お料理はビュッフェらしからぬ繊細さのある
手の込んだものでとても美味しくいただきました。
パンも全て自家製で質が高く、焼き菓子などの
デザートもパティシエによるもので丁寧に作られていました。
来訪時はプロバンスフェアだったせいか、
フランス人シェフが常駐し目配りを
されていました。アフリカや地中海料理にあるようなハーブや食材も使われていたので、質問をすると
嬉しそうに丁寧に答えてくださり、会話も楽しめ大満足なランチになりました。
ホテルのビュッフェは何度か行きましたが、どのホテルも手を抜きがちなお料理(特にデザート)があるものですがアメリカ系のホテルだからか素材も高級なものを惜しげなく使われていてリッチな気分になりました。
