Fukuda-san has been awarded a Michelin star for nine consecutive years, and the restaurant has consistently been known for its delicious food! I was able to visit again this year on the last day of the year, as is customary every year. This year, I ended the year with even more evolved food and sake! I had Asamayama, Senkin, and Mimurosugi sake.

The food was of course very satisfying, but the warm hospitality of the husband and wife chef made me want to return. I'm sure they naturally want to satisfy their customers from the bottom of their hearts. The dish featured the first Matsutake mushrooms of the year. Domestic Matsutake mushrooms are still unusually expensive, so we chose Yunnan Matsutake mushrooms, but they were fragrant and delicious when fried and served with a mizore soup. The salmon roe pickled in the salmon and egg rice for the final dish was exquisite and plentiful. The portions of the dishes in the photos are small. For alcohol, we had the Akayanagi series Sansho Soda, Banshu Ikken, Kamonishiki, and Gagakudai.
