西麻布は日赤通り沿いのイタリアン「リストランテイルバンビナッチョ（RistoranteILBAMBINACCIO）」。甲子園球場のように緑が茂った外壁が印象的。このあたりは「コントワールミサゴ（ComptoirMissago）」「リストランテペガソ（PEGASO）」「肉匠堀越」など私好みのお店が密集しております。
席数はそれほど多くないにも関わらず、空間はとても広く0密です。窓際の席はグリーン越しに太陽が入って来、とても健康的な雰囲気。ランチであれば黎明期のデートに最適でしょう。
福田憲一シェフは札幌や東京で腕を磨き、ローマやヴェネツィアで経験を積み帰国。当店で使用される器なども手がけているそうな。
暑い1日だったのでまずは生ビールから。この手の飲食店としては大容量であり、価格も800円とお得。この後もお料理に合わせて白ワインと赤ワインを頂いたのですが、いずれも千円台と良心的な価格設定でした。
アミューズはオナガダイのカルパッチョ。オナガダイとはハマダイもしくはアカマチなどとも呼ばれており、沖縄では三大高級魚として取り扱われています。脂が強く皮目の旨味もハイパワー。
パンはどシンプル。後続のお料理のソースが強ければこれでもOKですが、どちらかというと素材推しのお店に感じたので、もう少しややこしいパンのほうが私は好みでした。
旬のお野菜。サっと湯がいて塩麹のみで頂きます。間違いなく美味しいのですが、オイシックスなどの高級小売りで野菜を買って自宅で調理しても良いセンに辿り着きそうでもある。
ニンジンのスフレ。キューブ状態を保ってはいるもののプリンのように柔らかい触感。ニンジンの甘味が強く、チーズの塩気ならびに旨味との取り合わせが良かった。
パスタは手打ちのタリオリーニ。ピエモンテ州でおなじみ卵を使った平打ちパスタです。麺の存在感が強い分、具材や調味はシンプルに仕上げており、全体としてバランスの良い1皿でした。美味しいだけにもう少し量を食べたい。
メインはスペシャリテの「山形県黒毛和牛ホホ肉の炭火焼き」。ホホ肉を煮込んでから炭火で焼いており、第一印象はカリカリとしながら内側はジューシーに柔らかい。単調になりがちな煮込み料理に食感を持たせたハイブリッドな逸品です。
デザートはティラミスにジェラート。エスプレッソを流し込んでアフォガード風に仕上げます。万人受けする味わいであり、直線的に美味しい。
ハーブティで〆てごちそうさまでした。
お会計で驚き、ひとりあたり7千円を切りました。量の少ないコースを選んだためボリュームが物足りないなと感じましたが、この支払金額であれば大満足です。次回は夜に、一番高いコースでシェフのフルパワーを楽しみたいなと思います。
