日赤病院に行った帰りに、前から「利久」は気になっていたのでランチを食べに行きました。ですが結論から言うと「残念だらけ」でした。
まずお店に活気がないのです。迎え入れられる感じも皆無なので適当にカウンターに座ります。お茶は自分で入れます。出されるのはおしぼりだけ。
注文は「若鶏の唐揚げと海老フライ」の定食。待つことしばらく。色々と載せてお盆で運ばれて来ます。
まずはお汁。ワカメの赤出汁の味噌汁ですが煮詰まった味がしましたので飲まず、ワカメを食べて口を馴染ませます。ダシを感じません。
次に海老フライ。タルタルソースが銀紙カップに入っているので付けにくいです。まずは一口。確かに大きな海老ですが鮮度を感じません。また衣が厚く味がない海老を食感だけで食べている感じ。
次にごはん。水分多すぎてべちゃっとした食感。これも、ごはんの甘みなど皆無で味を感じません。
次に看板メニューの「若鶏の唐揚げネギソース」。大きめのものが3個。一口食べて、まったくカリッとした唐揚げ感がありません。作り置きのものを温めた感じ。鶏肉は柔らかいのですが漬け込み感がないので食べ飽きてしまいます。ネギソースも香ばしさなど皆無でした。
また、唐揚げや海老フライの下に敷かれたキャベツの千切りも、これまた味がしません。結局、和食屋に期待した「ダシの旨味」はまったく得られず、半分ぐらい食べてお店を後にしました。とても残念な昼食になりました。
